This containerized load bank, integrated with a wind chimney design, features a rated power capacity of 5000kW at PF 1.0 and operates at 20kVac with 50Hz frequency. Its load step resolution of 1000kW (configured as 1000kW+1000kW+1000kW+2000kW) ensures precise grid balancing, while the vertical upwards forced cooling system—powered by 18 fans (4kW each) with an approximate airflow of 2700 CMM—guarantees stable performance even in extreme temperatures ranging from -20°C to +50°C.
The load bank was also strictly tested under 25kV phase to ground withstand voltage. to ensure the insulation is preperly done in the structure.
Constructed with marine-grade painted carbon steel, the enclosure boasts an IP54 rating for outdoor use, adapting to the local climate and altitude (≤2000 m.a.s.l.). Safety is prioritized through thermal emergency cut-out, fan overload protection, and an emergency stop function, complemented by a manual control panel for easy operation.
