Load Bank Installation Guide

1, Preparation before installation

1)Confirm the model, specifications, and technical parameters of the load bank to ensure that it matches your application requirements.

2)Choose a suitable installation location that is well ventilated, dry, free of corrosive gases and flammable materials, and has sufficient space for operation and maintenance.

3)Prepare necessary installation tools, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, cranes (if the load bank is heavy), etc.

4)Check the power supply at the installation site to ensure that the voltage, frequency, and phase sequence meet the requirements of the load bank.

2, Load bank handling and placement

1)If the load bank is heavy, use suitable lifting equipment for handling to avoid personal injury and equipment damage.

2) Place the load bank in the selected position, ensuring it is stable and level.

3, Electrical connections

1)Turn off the power and use a power verification device to confirm that the power has been disconnected.

2)According to the wiring diagram of the load bank, connect the input cable to the power terminal and the output cable to the tested equipment or system.

3)Ensure that the cable connection is firm, the contact is good, the screws are tightened, and the wiring is correct to avoid short circuits or incorrect phase sequence.

4, Grounding connection

1)To ensure safety, the load bank must be reliably grounded.

2)Connect the grounding cable to the grounding terminal of the load bank and connect it to a reliable grounding electrode.

5, Inspection and debugging

1)After installation, carefully check whether all connections are secure and whether there are any loose screws or wiring.

2)Check if the ventilation system is working properly and ensure that the load bank has good heat dissipation conditions.

3)Conduct a preliminary power on test to check if the control panel, indicator lights, and instruments of the load bank are displaying properly.

6, Security protection

1)Set up protective barriers or warning signs around the load bank to prevent unrelated personnel from approaching.

2)Develop and comply with relevant safety operating procedures, and operators should be familiar with the operation and safety precautions of the load bank.

7, Acceptance after installation

1)Professional personnel shall conduct acceptance inspection to check whether the installation quality, electrical performance, and safety measures meet the requirements.

2)Conduct load testing to verify the normal performance of the load bank under different load conditions.
