    Working Principle

    The working principle of a reactor is based on the law of electromagnetic induction and the characteristics of inductance.
    When current passes through a reactor, self induced electromotive force is generated in the coil of the reactor. The magnitude of self induced electromotive force is directly proportional to the rate of change of current. Due to the presence of inductance, it hinders the change of current, preventing it from suddenly increasing or decreasing.
    Specifically, as the current increases, the self induced electromotive force generated by the reactor will attempt to prevent the current from increasing, thereby limiting the rate of current rise; When the current decreases, the self induced electromotive force will attempt to prevent the current from decreasing, thereby slowing down the rate of current decrease.
    This hindering effect on current changes enables reactors to play functions such as limiting short-circuit current, filtering, and reactive power compensation in power systems.

    The role of Inductors in load bankes
