Resistive Load Bank

The load bank islanding test is mainly used to detect whether the distributed generation system (such as photovoltaic, wind power generation, etc.) can respond correctly and disconnect from the power grid in the event of power outage or other situations, in order to avoid the formation of islanding operation status that poses a danger to equipment and personnel.

In the testing, different load situations are simulated using a load bank to observe the actions and performance of the distributed power generation system in the event of abnormal power grid conditions, including whether it can detect islanding status in a timely manner and stop supplying power to the grid. This can ensure the safety and reliability of distributed power generation systems, and prevent uncontrollable situations in the event of power grid failures.
